I don't like the taste of beer though I do like cooking with it. This bread has been a hit with everyone I've ever given it to, even those who swear they hate beer. This is good with butter or a cheese spread.
3 cups self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. white sugar
12 oz. beer
1/4 cup melted butter.
Combine beer, flour, sugar. Mix well. Put into greased and floured baking pan.
Pour melted butter over the top. Stick into 375 degree F oven for 45-60 minutes.
